An Invitation from the TPRF President
It has been said that the average length of a human life is 25,500 days. In other words, if you live to be 70, that’s the number of days you’ll have. If you make it to 100, that number goes up to 36,500. But even then, it’s not all that much time, is it?
No matter how you slice it, life is precious. No matter where we live, what we do, or who we think we are, we’re only here for a little while. Indeed, it’s the experience we have during our brief time here that really matters. That’s what life is all about—the quality of our life, not the quantity.
And that, quite simply, is why The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) exists—to support the essential human qualities of dignity, peace, and prosperity for people all around the world.
And that is why we are getting together on July 20th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, CA: to celebrate the progress the Foundation has made this year and to commit to the work ahead in a very practical way.
Our goal is to raise $200,000 to assure the expansion of TPRF’s groundbreaking programs, Food for People (FFP) and the Peace Education Program (PEP); to continue advancing Prem Rawat’s message of peace in new arenas; and to fund grants for disaster relief and eye care.
Toward that end, we need your help.
One way you can help is to attend the July 20th Benefit—an evening that promises to be an unforgettable one, including a cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, a concert (I will perform), updates on TPRF, and a chance to meet some extraordinary people.
If you cannot attend, there are still four ways you can help. You can forward this page to friends. You can become a sponsor. You can contact TPRF about becoming a Benefit volunteer. And you can participate in the newly launched Know Thy Selfie campaign. No donation is too small. Every little bit helps.
Simply put, it’s all about giving. For those of us who have been given so much, this is yet another chance to give back—perhaps the highest expression of what it really means to be a human being.
With Great Appreciation!
